Alec Brook

Alec Brook (* around 1911; † November 6, 1986 ) was an English table tennis player who took part in six world championships from 1933 to 1954 .

Career

Alec Brook first took part in a world championship in 1933 . He won bronze with the English team. In his other World Cup activities in 1935 , 1938 , 1947 , 1948 and 1954 , he did not come close to medals.

After the end of his active career, he ran a business with table tennis accessories. In addition, he played numerous exhibition matches in Europe and Africa, around 1947 with Richard Bergmann , 1959 with Victor Barna , and in the 1950s with Charles Seaman . In 1965 he coached the Nigerian national team in preparation for the upcoming World Cup .

Private

Alec Brook was married and had two daughters.
