Alejandro Enrique Moreno Riera (born July 8, 1979 in Barquisimeto ) is a former Venezuelan football player. He played in the position of the striker .

In 1998 Moreno emigrated to the United States and played for the college selection team at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro . After four years, he finished his college career with a total of 65 goals.
In 2002 he went to Los Angeles Galaxy via the MLS SuperDraft. In his first season he played a few missions. In the 2003 season, he became a popular wild card and contributed six goals. Despite his good performance in 2003, he was not a regular for the team in the 2004 season.
In 2005 he was traded to the San José Earthquakes . There he earned his regular place. Like many Earthquakes players, he was transferred to Houston Dynamo , in which the Earthquakes were absorbed , in early 2006 .
On May 10, 2007 he was exchanged for Joseph Ngwenya by the Columbus crew . With the crew he won his third MLS Cup after 2002 and 2006 .
On November 25, 2009, he was selected by the Philadelphia Union in the 2009 MLS Expansion Draft .
On November 24, 2010, Moreno was selected by the Vancouver Whitecaps in the 2010 MLS Expansion Draft . A short time later it was passed on to the CD Chivas USA together with Alan Gordon . After two seasons for Chivas, he ended his football career in 2012 at the age of 33.
National team
His first international match for the Venezuelan national soccer team took place on February 18, 2005 against Australia.
