Aleksandar Fira
Aleksandar Fira ( Serbian - Cyrillic Александар Фира ; born April 5, 1929 in Kragujevac , Yugoslavia ; † December 31, 2011 ) was a Yugoslav constitutional judge and professor of constitutional law .
He received his doctorate from the Law Faculty of Belgrade University in 1960 . From 1970 he was a full professor at the Law Faculty of the University of Novi Sad . From 1969 he was a judge at the Yugoslav Constitutional Court, from 1982 to 1990 President of the Constitutional Court. At the same time he was President of the Constitutional Court of SAP Vojvodina from 1974 .
He has been a full member of the Vojvodina Academy of Sciences and Arts since 1984 and a full member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts since 1991 .
