Aleksander Bojda (* 1978 ) is a former Polish skier who competed in ski jumping and Nordic combined .

Career

Bojda, who started for KS Wisła Ustronianka , gained his first successes at national level. In 1992 he won the Polish title in Nordic combined with Adam Małysz and Tomasz Wawrzacz . In the same year he won two gold medals at the Polish Junior Ski Jumping Championships.

For the 1995/96 season Bojda was part of the team in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup and achieved a total of 31 points and thus rank 127 in the overall ranking.

In 1996 he improved the unofficial hill record on the Wielka Krokiew in Zakopane to 130.5 meters after the Czech Primož Peterka jumped only 130 meters in the same year . The record lasted five years until Stefan Kaiser improved it by five meters.

On March 2, 1996, he was part of the team at the team jumping in the ski jumping World Cup in Lahti . He reached eighth place with the team. He was nominated by the association for the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano , but did not appear in the end. In the same year he won the national team title in ski jumping together with Adam Małysz and Grzegorz Śliwka .
