Athletic career

Alemaz Samuel gained her first international experience at the Junior African Championships 2017 in Tlemcen , where she won the bronze medal in the 1,500 meter run in 3: 31.59 minutes . The following year she won this competition in 4: 09.67 min at the U20 World Championships in Tampere .
