Alessandro Juliani (born July 6, 1975 in Montreal ) is a Canadian actor , singer and composer .

Juliani has appeared as an actor and voice actor since 1989 and has been involved in more than 100 productions. His focus is on television series. He became more widely known through the television series Battlestar Galactica (2004-2009) as a tactical officer of Galactica, Lieutenant Felix Gaeta . From 2014 he played Jacapo Sinclair in the science fiction series The 100 .

The son of producer, actor and screenwriter John Juliani and Donna Wong-Juliani found his way to acting through music and dubbing. Juliani sang in the British Columbia Boys Choir when he was a child and tried his luck as an actor as a teenager. He received his Bachelor of Music in Singing and Opera from McGill University in Montreal, where he was known for his baritone voice. Juliani often found jobs in cartoon and anime dubbing, and some of these productions also challenged his singing talent. On the side he got smaller roles on television, including Dark Angel and Riese: Kingdom Falling . In 2017 he appeared in Planet of the Apes: Survival ( War for the Planet of the Apes ).

Alessandro Juliani has been nominated several times for the Jessie Award, which is bestowed by the theater scene in Vancouver. He has appeared at both the Bard on the Beach Theater Festival and the Vancouver Opera.
