Alex Alayan

Alex A. Alayan , also known as Alen Alayan , (born January 23, 1985 ) is a Uruguayan weightlifter .

Career

Alex Alayan took part with the Uruguayan team in the 2010 South American Games in Medellín . There he was eighth in the competition won by the Venezuelan Herbys Márquez in the category up to 85 kg. In September 2010, Alayan competed at the World Championships in Antalya, Turkey , and finished 34th. In the same year he was at the Pan American Championships in Guatemala City 14. In the context of the honors of the best Uruguayan athletes of the period 2009-2010 ("Deportista del Año") he was on March 28, 2011 by the Comité Olímpico Uruguayo in the Teatro Solís as best athlete of 2010 in the weightlifting category.
