Alex Lanipekun (born April 7, 1981 in London ) is a British actor .

Life

Alex Lanipekun initially worked as a journalist and hip hopper . He later completed an acting training at the RADA ( Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts ). Shortly after completing his training, he played the role of Ben Kaplan in 12 episodes of the television series Spooks - In the sights of MI5 . In 2010 he appeared in two episodes of the British television series Being Human as Saul. From 2014 to 2015 he played Hank Wonham in the television series Homeland .

In addition to his appearances in film and television, Alex Lanipekun can also be seen in the theater. In 2009 he played Danilo in the play Dimetos Dimetos at Donmar Warehouse . In 2010 he performed in Hamlet at the National Theater in London. In 2013 he starred in the play Amygdala in the lead role of the musician Joshua in the Print Room in London.
