Alex Thomas Kaliyanil
Alex Thomas Kaliyanil SVD (born May 27, 1960 in Vallamchira ) is Archbishop of Bulawayo .
Life
Alex Thomas Kaliyanil joined the religious order of the Steyler Missionaries , made his profession in 1987 and was ordained a priest on May 7, 1988 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Archbishop of Bulawayo on June 20, 2009 . The Apostolic Nuncio to Zimbabwe , George Kocherry , ordained him bishop on September 12 of that year ; Co- consecrators were Robert Christopher Ndlovu , Archbishop of Harare , and Martin Munyanyi , Bishop of Gweru .
