Alexander Ahndoril
Alexander Ahndoril , born Gustafsson (born January 20, 1967 in Upplands Väsby ) is a Swedish writer .
Life
Ahndoril wrote novels and plays . The 2006 novel Directors about Ingmar Bergman attracted a lot of attention in Sweden. It was based on a public condemnation of the novel by Bergman, although he read the manuscript in advance and approved before it went to press. Director has been translated into several languages including English, Russian, Polish, Dutch, Czech, Hungarian, Norwegian and Danish. In 2009 he published his ninth novel Diplomats , which tells a fictional story about a Swedish diplomat's struggle for the disarmament of Iraq in 2003. Hans Blix is seen as the protagonist of the work. Both the preface and the epilogue state that the diplomat's privacy has been invented just as public life has been truthfully portrayed. Directors are part 1, diplomats part 2 of a planned trilogy of novels about Swedish men.
Ahndoril wrote together with his wife, the writer Alexandra Coelho Ahndoril , Hypnotisören , Paganinikontraktet , Eldvittnet and Sandmannen under the pseudonym Lars Kepler . The couple currently lives in Stockholm with their three daughters .
