Alexander Andrejewitsch Petrow ( Russian Александр Андреевич Петров ; born  January 25, 1989 in Pereslavl-Zalessky , Yaroslavl Oblast ) is a Russian actor .

Life

In 2012 Petrov completed his acting studies at the Russian Academy of Theater Arts ( GITIS ) and then worked at the Moscow Theaters Et cetera and Yermolova Theater , among others .

In the television series VIP policeman Petrov played the young investigators and daredevil Grischa Izmailov, the protection of law and order in the luxury district Rublyovka is responsible. In 2017 he played one of the leading roles in Fyodor Bondartschuk's science fiction film Attraction . In 2019 he played the main role, Strelzow , in the film of the same name. He also played the title role in the trilogy about the Russian writer Nikolai Gogol from 2017 to 2019.

In 2019 he was awarded the Russian Golden Eagle Film Prize.

Private

From 2015 to 2019 Petrov was in a relationship with the Russian actress Irina Starschenbaum . He has been with the actress Stasja Miloslawskaja since 2019.
