Alexander Dmitrievich Balashov
Alexander Balashov ( Russian Александр Дмитриевич Балашов , scientific transliteration. Aleksandr Dmitrievič Balašov * 13 . Jul / 24. July 1770 greg. In Moscow ; † 8 . Jul / 20th May 1837 . Greg in Kronstadt ) was a Russian military and politicians.
Balashov was first St. Petersburg Chief Police Officer, then the Military Governor of St. Petersburg (1809-1810). From 1810 to 1816 he was Minister of Police and finally from 1820 to 1825 Governor General of the Governments of Ryazan , Tula , Oryol , Voronezh and Tambov .
