Alexander Buisson
Alexander Buisson (* 1797 ; † 1853 ) was court judge and from May 31, 1849 to July 3, 1849 mayor of Freiburg.
Life
Alexander Buisson was elected mayor on May 31, 1849 with 731 of 749 votes as the successor to Joseph von Rotteck , who had evaded his imminent arrest by fleeing. Buisson fled to Switzerland on July 3, 1849 when the Baden Revolution collapsed . After the revolutionary mayor's escape, Joseph von Rotteck again took over the leadership of the city.
