Alexander Heinrich ( Russian Александр Рудольфович Гейнрих , Aleksandr Rudolfowitsch Gejnrich ; Uzbek Aleksandr Geynrix ; born October 6, 1984 in Angren , Uzbek SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Russian - Uzbek former football player . The Russian-German is active in the national team of Uzbekistan . His name is often given in the spelling Alexander Geynrikh in western countries .

Career

Alexander Heinrich was born in 1984 into a Russian-German family in Angren , which was then Soviet . He began playing football professionally in 2001 at FK Dustlik , where other Uzbek players, such as Vyacheslav Ponamarjow or Shafar Irismetow , had also started professional football.

From there, Heinrich moved to Pachtakor Tashkent the following year . In 2002 the striker made 23 appearances and 9 goals and was also used for the first time in the Uzbek national team . In the same year he was also voted Uzbek footballer of the year. Finally, the PFK ZSKA Moscow signed him in 2003. At ZSKA, Heinrich only made two appearances in the professional team and was mostly used in the second team. In 2005 he briefly returned to his old club Pachtakor, where he scored five goals in twelve appearances.

In the same year Heinrich von Torpedo Moscow was committed. In Torpedo Heinrich came to 21 missions without scoring a goal. In 2007 he returned to Pachtakor Tashkent, for which he was used in 73 games (39 goals) until 2011. In early 2011 he was loaned to the Korean team Suwon Samsung Bluewings for a year , where he was used 19 times. Heinrich then moved to the Emirates Club in Ras al-Khaimah in 2012 . For the club from the United Arab Emirates he only played six games until he was signed by the Kazakh club FK Aqtöbe .

So far (as of March 2014) he has played a total of 84 games with the Uzbek national team, in which he scored 28 goals.
