Alexander George Gordon, 7th Marquess of Aberdeen and Temair (born March 31, 1955 , † March 12, 2020 in Methlick, Aberdeenshire ), was a British nobleman .

Life

He was the only son of Alastair Gordon, 6th Marquess of Aberdeen and Temair , and Anne Barry. As his father's apparent marriage , he carried the courtesy title of Earl of Haddo from 1984 to 2002 . When his father died in 2002, he inherited his title of nobility as 7th Marquess of Aberdeen and Temair .

He attended Harrow School in London. From 1998 he held the public office of Deputy Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire.

His marriage to Joanna Clodagh Houldsworth in 1981 resulted in two sons and two daughters:

When he died on March 12, 2020 at his House of Formatine estate in Methlick, near Ellon in Aberdeenshire, his eldest son George inherited his titles of nobility.
