Alexander Grasse

Alexander Grasse (* 1968 ) is a German political scientist, Germanist, educational scientist and Italian philologist.

Career

After studying political science , German , educational science and Italian at the universities of Gießen and Bari , Grasse passed the state examination in 1995. Subsequently, doctorate in 2000 and habilitation in 2005. Since December 2007 he has been Professor of Political Science at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen .

Awards

  • 2007 Clemens Maria Brentano Prize, awarded by the German-Italian University Institute (Ateneo Italo-Tedesco), "In recognition of outstanding contributions in the field of Italian studies and special merits in cooperation and cultural understanding between Italy and Germany"
