Alexander Huiskes

Alexander Huiskes (* 1968 in Wallau in Hessen ) is a German author of fantasy novels.

Life

After graduating from high school, Alexander Huiskes studied German literature, history and politics at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz for teaching at grammar schools. Since 1998 he has been teaching at a private high school in Wiesbaden .

His career as a writer began in 1989 when he was employed and editor of various magazines and publications in the role-playing genre . He worked for ZauberZeit , Spielwelt , Nautilus and Kartefakt, among others . From 1994 he took over the editor-in-chief of the Gildenbrief , a regular magazine for the role-playing game system Midgard . He also wrote several adventures for this first German-language pen & paper game . He also designed and wrote the SF version of Midgard, which is set in Perry Rhodan's universe , and the corresponding background material. He occasionally works as an editor for Bastei and is also responsible as the author of the Drenai encyclopedia , which appeared in David Gemmell's novels . Since volume 2200 (2003) he has also been editing the weekly novels in the Perry Rhodan booklet series.

Works

Alexander Huiskes has published three novels so far. Two of them take place in the fictional world of the Black Eye , the third in the world of Midgard .
