Alexander Muñoz
Alexander Muñoz (* 8. February 1979 in Miranda , Venezuela ) is a Venezuelan boxer in the super flyweight .
Professional career
On March 9, 2002 he boxed against Celes Kobayashi for the world championship title of the association WBA and won by technical knockout in round 8. He defended this title three times and lost it in December 2004 to Martín Castillo on points.
On May 3, 2007, he captured this title for the second time when he defeated Nobuo Nashiro on points. He defended the belt in the same year against Kuniyuki Aizawa and the following year against Katsushige Kawashima . However, he also lost the title in the following against Cristian Mijares .
