Celes Kobayashi

Celes Kobayashi ( Jpn. セレス小林 , Seresu Kobayashi , actually repaper Kobayashi ( 小林昭司 , Kobayashi repaper ) * 6. October 1974 in Iwai (now Bandō ), Ibaraki Prefecture , Japan ) is a former Japanese boxer in the super flyweight .

Professional career

In 1992 Kobayashi, who got his nickname after the wedding hall he worked for, began his professional career and lost his debut fight. On March 11, 2001 he boxed against Leo Gámez for the world championship title of the association WBA and won by technical knockout in round 10. He defended this title in the same year against Jesús Rojas by split point decision and lost it to Alexander the following year Muñoz by knockout.

After this defeat he ended his career after 24 wins with 5 defeats. He then worked as a trainer and television commentator.
