Alexander Nemecz

Alexander Nemecz (born May 7, 1905 in Oberwart ; † June 30, 1981 ibid) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and lawyer. He was a member of the Austrian National Council from 1945 to 1953 and from 1956 to 1966 .

After primary school, Nemecz graduated from Oberschützen high school and graduated from high school in 1922. After studying law at the University of Graz and obtaining his doctorate in 1929, he passed the bar exam in 1935 and from 1936 worked as a lawyer and defense attorney in criminal matters in Oberwart. Politically, he was the district chairman of the Austrian Economic Association in Oberwart and from 1945 he was district manager of the ÖVP Oberwart. He represented the ÖVP in the National Council between December 19, 1945 and March 18, 1953, to which he was again a member between June 8, 1956 and March 30, 1966.
