Alexander Nicolaus Tolckemit

Alexander Nicolaus Tolckemit (* 1715 in Elbing , Polish-Prussia ; † 1759 ) was a German Protestant pastor and regional historian.

Alexander Nicolaus Tolckemit came from a pastor's family from Elbing and the surrounding area. He studied Protestant theology in Jena from 1733 to 1735 and received his first pastor's position in Lenzen in West Prussia in 1737 . In 1745 he moved to Preußisch Mark ( Preuschmark ) and in 1758 to the St. Anne's Church in Elbing, where he died the following year.
