Alexander Pedersen (full name Peder Alexander Pedersen , born February 4, 1891 in Oslo , † February 10, 1955 ibid) was a Norwegian athlete who specialized in sprint routes.

Pedersen, who started for the Torodd IF club , was multiple Norwegian champions. Over 100 meters he was champion in 1910 and 1915, and vice-champion from 1912 to 1914. In 1913 and 1915 he won the championship over 200 meters. Over this distance he was runner-up from 1910 to 1912 and 1914. After three runner-up championships (1910 to 1912), three championships in a row (1913 to 1915) over 400 meters followed. For his achievements he was awarded the Königspokal (Norwegian: Kongepokal ) in 1915 .

Alexander Pedersen took part in the Summer Olympics in Stockholm in 1912 . He started over 100 and 400 meters. Pedersen was drawn into the 12th preliminary run in the 100-meter run, which was completed by five athletes. Among other things, he met the Canadian Frank Lukeman there . Pedersen was eliminated from the competition in fourth, only the first two runners qualified for the semi-finals. In the 400-meter run, he had to start 14th. Of three starters, the two first placed qualified for the semifinals. Pedersen was disqualified.

Pedersen's personal bests were 10.9 s over 100 meters (1913) and 51.0 s over 400 meters (1915).
