Alexander Schadenberg

Alexander Schadenberg (born May 27, 1852 in Breslau , † January 15, 1896 in Vigan ) was a German chemist , explorer and ethnographer .

Schadenberg went to Manila (Philippines) as a chemist in 1876 . From 1881 he worked as a pharmacist in Vigan (Ilocos Norte, Philippines). The exhibits he has collected in the Philippines enrich numerous European museums.
