Alexander Siegmund

Alexander Siegmund (born June 21, 1968 in Hüfingen ) has been Professor of Geographical Didactics at the Heidelberg University of Education since 2006 .

Siegmund studied business education and geography in Mannheim . In 1997 Siegmund did his doctorate on a regional climate topic with Peter Frankenberg . From 2002 to 2005 he was professor for geography and its didactics at the Karlsruhe University of Education .

Alexander Siegmund is one of Peter Frankenberg's academic students, along with Dieter Anhuf , Martin Kappas and Christophe Neff .

He is considered a profound expert on the physical geography of the Baar .
