Alexander Tetzner (born August 23, 1974 in Lichtenstein / Sa. ) Is a former German football player .

Career

Alexander Tetzner moved from VfL 05 Hohenstein-Ernstthal to Chemnitzer FC in 1994 . He soon played his way into the 1st team and, after good performance, was chosen as a promising talent there too. After he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with his team in 1998/99 , some Bundesliga clubs even noticed him. But the 1999/00 season did not go well for him: After a few weaker games, he temporarily lost his regular place and was chosen by the Chemnitz fans to the disappointment of the season. The second season in the second division ended with the relegation of the CFC and Tetzner left the club for FC Erzgebirge Aue . In the Ore Mountains, as in some cases during his time in Chemnitz, injuries threw him back, and so he finally experienced a career break after he left Aue in 2003. Two years later he joined the lower class Wüstenbrander SV.

In 2008 he returned to Chemnitzer FC. There he was a physiotherapist until 2012 and from 2008 to 2009 he was also a player in the second team. Today he works as a physiotherapist in a practice in the Chemnitz district of Grüna .
