Alexander Wilberg

Alexander Wilberg (born May 6, 1905 in Vienna ; † January 10, 1992 ) was an Austrian lawyer and politician ( ÖVP ). From 1955 to 1961 he was a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag .

Life

Alexander Wilberg was a son of the archaeologist Wilhelm Wilberg . He first attended the German School in Athens , then the grammar school in Gmunden , where he also graduated in 1924. 1929 doctorate Wilberg at the University of Innsbruck for Dr. jur. From 1935 he worked as a lawyer in Gmunden. Between 1941 and 1945 he did his military service. From 1949 to 1955, Wilberg was financial advisor and deputy mayor of the city of Gmunden and, from 1949, deputy chairman or chairman of the Sparkasse Gmunden. From 1955 to 1961 he was a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag.

Wilberg had been married to his wife Irmgard since 1933; the couple had two sons.
