Alexander Wladimirowitsch Abrosimov ( Russian Александр Владимирович Абросимов , English transcription: Alexander Abrosimov ; born August 25, 1983 in Novokuibyshevsk ) is a Russian volleyball player .

Career

Abrossimow began his career in 1999 in his hometown with Oktan Novokuibyshevsk and then played from 2003 to 2005 for Nova Novokuibyshevsk. In 2005, the middle blocker was committed by the first division club VK Lokomotiv-Belogorje and won the Russian Cup. The following year he reached third place in the world league with the Russian national team . In 2008 Abrossimow moved to league rivals VK Zenit-Kazan . With the new club he won the championship and cup double in 2009. In the next two years Kazan was able to successfully defend the title in the championship. In addition, the club was in the 2011 Champions League final against Trentino Volley . 2011/12 Abrossimow played for one season at Fakel Novy Urengoy . Then he returned to Kazan.
