Alexander James Zetterman (born February 8, 1990 in Linderöd , Skåne län ) is a Swedish show jumper.

Private

Zetterman comes from an equestrian family. He is the son of Royne Zetterman and the brother of Daniel Zetterman .

Career

He started riding at the age of six. At the age of ten he won his first gold medal at the Swedish pony rider championships. This was followed by further successes in the Swedish championships of his age group, even after switching to large horses. As a pony rider, he also won team silver at the European championships in the age group.

In 2005 he finished twentieth in the individual and fifth place with the team at the European Junior Championships in Schaffhausen on Querides . The following year the team took fourth place, in the individual Zettermann came in sixth. At the 2007 European Junior Championships in Auvers , the team won team gold, while Zetterman was fourth in the individual in the saddle of Lotus F. At his last European Junior Championship (2008) the team rode in sixth place in Prague , Zetterman finished 34th in the individual.

In 2010 he became a member of the Swedish Olympic Talent Program. He is a member of Swedish Nations Cup teams, among other things he won the Lisbon Nations Cup in 2011 with High Yummy . In June 2014, Zetterman and Cafino won the Grand Prix of the Swedish Nations Cup in Falsterbo.
