Alexandra Eremia

Alexandra Georgiana Maria Eremia (born February 19, 1987 in Bucharest ) is a former Romanian gymnast .

Career

Eremia did gymnastics at the Steaua Bucharest . She won the silver medal with the Romanian team at the 2003 World Gymnastics Championships . In 2004 she was part of the Romanian team at the European Championships that won the gold medal. She also finished second on the balance beam. In the same year she won gold with the team in the team competition at the Summer Olympics in Athens and bronze on the balance beam.

In December 2004 she won a bronze medal at the World Cup final in Birmingham. In 2005 she did not take part in the European Championships because her fitness stumbled a little. She resigned for good early in 2006. After completing her studies, she became a trainer at Steaua Bucharest.
