Alexandra Prechal
Alexandra Prechal or Sacha Prechal (* 1959 in Prague ) is a Dutch lawyer and judge .
Live and act
Alexandra Prechal studied law at the University of Groningen from 1977 to 1983. She then worked as a lecturer at the Law Faculty of Maastricht University from 1983 to 1987 and at the European Institute of the Law Faculty of the University of Amsterdam from 1991 to 1995. In the same year doctorate her there a doctorate in law. Since 1995 she has been professor of European law, initially at the law faculty of Tilburg University and since 2003 in the same position at Utrecht University . After Prechal worked as a consultant at the Court of Justice of the European Communities from 1987 to 1991, she has been a judge at the European Court of Justice since 2010 .
