Alexandra Rigos

Alexandra Rigos (* 1968 in Herne ) is a German science author, journalist and blogger .

Life

Rigos studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and, after graduating with a diploma, attended the Henri Nannen School for Journalists in Hamburg .

After graduating, she first worked in the science department of Spiegel . In 2001 she moved to Berlin and has since worked as a freelance journalist for Geo , Stern and Greenpeace magazine . Between 2008 and 2010 she ran the blog “Zentralgarten” about gardening in the city.

Rigos is married to the science author Stefan Klein and has three children. She lives in Berlin.
