Alexandra Vasilyevna Rodionova
Alexandra Wassiljewna Rodionowa ( Russian Александра Васильевна Родионова , English Alexandra Rodionova ; born January 2, 1984 in Bratsk , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a Russian bobsleigh athlete and former luge athlete .
Alexandra Rodionova is a student and lives in Bratsk . She has been sledding since 2001 and has been a member of the Russian national team since 2003. She has been competing in the Luge World Cup since the 2002/03 season . In her first season she was 14th of the overall World Cup, in the following season she finished 13th. She has reached places in the top ten several times, with the top placement being sixth in 2007 in Sigulda . At the 2004 European Championships in Oberhof , Rodionowa was fifth with the team, as well as at the 2005 Luge World Championships in Park City . In 2004 and 2007 she was in individual races in Igls . At the 2006 Olympic Winter Games of Turin she won 14th place at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver she was ranked 6th
