Alexandre Gacon was a French racing car driver .

Racing career

Alexandre Gacon was active in sports car racing in the early 1950s . In 1953 he was overall eighth in the Tour de France for automobiles . In 1954 he finished this event 12th overall.

In 1954 he also competed in the Le Mans 24-hour race . He was Mario Damonte's partner there and drove the little Nardi 750LM . It was canceled after driving seven laps because of a defective water pump.
