Alexei Konstantinowitsch Ryazanow

Alexei Konstantinowitsch Rjasanow ( Russian Алексей Константинович Рязанов , born February 27, 1920 in Bolshaya Kochetovka , Tambov Governorate ; † August 1, 1992 ) was a Soviet fighter pilot.

Life

Ryazanov graduated from the "Tschkalow" military aviation school in Borisoglebsk in 1939 . As a member of the 28th IAP in the Novgorod-Wolinskowo area, he shot down his first air enemy, an Hs 126 , in an I-16 on the first day of the German-Soviet War . In November 1941 he moved to the 736th IAP, where he flew the Hawker Hurricane . Finally, Ryazanov came to the 4th IAP in July 1942 and was seriously wounded in an aerial combat on January 28, 1945 , but was still able to return to his airfield. In 509 combat flights and 97 aerial battles, he achieved 31 aerial victories and twelve group victories.

He was a two-time Hero of the Soviet Union (August 24, 1943 and August 18, 1945), three times the Order of Lenin and four times the Order of the Red Banner . In 1942 he became a member of the CPSU .

In 1950 he graduated from the Frunze Academy and then worked in various air defense staffs , graduated from the General Staff Academy in 1958 and retired in August 1975.
