Alexei Nikolayevich Kamanin

Alexei Nikolajewitsch Kamanin ( Russian Алексей Николаевич Каманин ; born June 6, 1978 ) is a Russian handball player .

The 1.97 meter tall and 107 kilogram right back player has been under contract with Medvedi Chekhov or his predecessor CSKA Moscow since 1998 . With this club he has won the Russian championship every year since 2000 and the cup in 2009, 2010 and 2011. In 2006 he won the European Cup Winners' Cup . He was mostly represented in the EHF Champions League and reached the Final Four there in 2009/10 . Since 2011 he has been playing for the Ukrainian club HK Motor Zaporozhye , with which he was champion in 2013 and 2014 and cup winner in 2013.

Alexei Kamanin scored 392 goals in 198 international matches for the Russian national team (as of December 2011) and was in the squad for the 2010 European handball championship . He played at the 2008 Olympics .
