Alexei Sheludko
Alexei Dimitrov Scheludko , (born May 18, 1920 in Halle (Saale) , † 1995 ) was a Bulgarian chemist.
Scheludko studied chemistry at Sofia University with a degree in 1941 and a doctorate in physical chemistry in 1956. In 1948 he became an assistant there, a lecturer in 1957 and a professor in 1962. He was head of the Department of Physical Chemistry and Surface Chemistry at the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Bulgaria. In 1974 Scheludko was elected a member of the Leopoldina .
He dealt with electrochemistry, colloid chemistry and chemistry on interfaces and thin surface films, for example with foams.
