Alexi Zentner (2019)

Alexi Zentner (born August 29, 1973 in Kitchener, Ontario ) is a Canadian-American writer. He also writes under the pseudonym Ezekiel Boone .

Life

Alexi Zentner attended Grinnell College (BA) and then studied at Cornell University (MFA). He worked at Cornell University and has since taught literature at Binghamton University .

His fiction has appeared in The Atlantic Monthly and Narrative Magazine , among others . In 2008 he received the O. Henry Prize for the short story Touch , and the debut novel of the same name was on the long list of the Scotiabank Giller Prize for Canadian authors in 2011 . Under the pseudonym Ezekiel Boone, he writes detective novels and horror stories, including the series The Hatching , the first episode of which received the Prix ​​Masterton in the French translation Éclosion 2019 .

Zentner lives with his family in Ithaca (New York) .
