Alexios Halebian (born June 8, 1994 in Los Angeles ) is an American tennis player .

Career

Junior tour

Alexios Halebian, whose parents come from Armenia , was able to achieve a 24th place in the junior world rankings in April 2012 on the junior tour. His greatest success in 2009 was the victory in the U16 competition of the Orange Bowl , the unofficial junior world championship in tennis. In 2010 he reached the semi-finals in the U18 competition.

Professional tour

Halebian mainly plays tournaments on the Future and Challenger Tour on the professional tour. So far he has won five futures titles in doubles.

In 2017 he competed in the qualification in Washington, DC . After victories against Wil Spencer and Marc Polmans , he made it into a main field on the ATP World Tour for the first time . In his opening match, however, he was defeated by the Slovak Lukáš Lacko 3: 6, 4: 6. In both singles and doubles, his best placement is around the 500th place.
