Alfons-Reimund Billmann

Alfons-Reimund Billmann (born June 30, 1944 in Bardenberg ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 2005 to 2010 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia for one electoral term .

Life

Billmann graduated from elementary school in 1958 and completed an apprenticeship as a high-voltage electrician from 1959 to 1962. He passed his master's examination as an electrician in 1969. From 1969 to 2003 he was involved in various activities, including being a department head and deputy operations manager. He has been retired since 2004.

politics

Billmann joined the CDU in 1969. From 1975 he was a member of the board of the local association Herzogenrath-Kohlscheid of the CDU and from 1985 also a member of the board of the city association Herzogenrath . He was district and district chairman of the Communal Political Association (KPV) of the CDU and a member of the state board of the KPV. From 1969 to 1972 he was a member of the Haaren municipality council. Since 1978 he has been a member of the council of Herzogenrath, where he has been parliamentary group leader since 1989. He has been a member of the Aachen District Council since 1990 and of the Aachen City Region Council since 2009 . In the state elections in 2005 he became a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia, but left at the end of the electoral term.
