Primetime Emmy Awards 1949

The 1st Emmy Awards in 1949 took place on January 25, 1949 at the Hollywood Athletic Club , Los Angeles , California , USA . As moderator led Walter O'Keefe by the event of the short notice failed Rudy Vallee replaced. Only programs that were produced and broadcast in Los Angeles were admitted to the first presentation of the Primetime Emmy Awards .
