The 27th Emmy Awards were held on May 19, 1975 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles , California . The award ceremony took place without a moderator.

The top shows this year were Mary Tyler Moore and The House on Eaton Place , which won the main categories. Mary Tyler Moore also won the most awards with five. M * A * S * H topped the nomination list with nine, but only got one award.
