John Badham

John Badham (born August 25, 1939 in Luton , Great Britain ) is a British film director and producer .

Life

After doing a lot of work for US television , Badham had his first cinema success in 1977 with Saturday Night Fever . This was followed by other very successful films from the action and adventure genre such as The Flying Eye , WarGames , The Night Has Many Eyes , Against Time , A Bird on a Wire , Isn't that my life? , Drop zone and number 5 is alive! .

Since the mid-1990s, the brother of the American actress Mary Badham has been working almost exclusively for television again. He is also active as a producer and acted a. a. for the film Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story as executive producer.
