Nancy Walker
Nancy Walker (born May 10, 1922 in Philadelphia , † March 25, 1992 in Studio City, California ), born Anna Myrtle Swoyer , was an American actress .
Walker made her Broadway debut in 1941 in the musical Best Foot Forward .
In addition to her theater work, she also played in American films and TV series and was also known as "Rosie" in commercials for the Bounty company. She played her best-known role in the crime comedy classic A Dead Body for Dessert (1976) as the silent cook Yetta .
In her career she was nominated eight times for an Emmy Award ; the last nomination she received for the impersonation of Aunt Angela in a guest role on the series Golden Girls .
Nancy Walker was a long-time smoker and died of lung cancer at the age of 69 .
