Alfons Gern
Alfons Gern (born December 24, 1944 in Friesenheim ; † May 8, 2010 in Lahr ) was a German legal scholar and, as city law director, head of the legal office of the city of Lahr / Black Forest . He was honorary professor for the state of Baden-Württemberg .
Gern received his doctorate in 1976 with The Contract between Private Individuals on Authorizations and Obligations under Public Law : On the Dogmatics of Contracts under Public Law at the legal department of the University of Munich .
He achieved fame primarily through his renowned textbooks on local law . He was also co-editor of the Neue Zeitschrift für Verwaltungsrecht .
