Alfons Karl Max Kienzle (born October 27, 1950 in Reichenbach im Vogtland ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1999 to 2014 he was a member of the Saxon State Parliament .

Life

Kienzle completed the polytechnic high school in the GDR and then trained as a butcher, with subsequent work as a journeyman in his parents' company. After working as a bookseller with an adult qualification, he aimed for distance learning at the specialist school for booksellers. He then worked for the folk book trade for ten years, starting in 1988 as a private retailer. Later he worked as a technical employee at VSTR Rodewisch.

Kienzle has been a member of the CDU since 1988 and has been the local chairman in Reichenbach since 1996. He has been a member of the Reichenbach city council since 1990, and has also been a district councilor in the Vogtland district since 1996. He had been a member of the Saxon State Parliament since October 1999 , where he was a member of the Committee on School and Sport, a member of the Committee on Environment and Agriculture, a member of the Budget and Finance Committee and a member of the 2nd committee of inquiry for the 4th electoral term. He was elected through a direct mandate in constituency 4 (Vogtland 3) .

In April 2012, Kienzle confirmed that, after three legislative periods in the Saxon state parliament, he would not stand again in the state elections in 2014 .
