Alfons round

Alfons Runde (born February 24, 1954 in Ibbenbüren ) is a German economist and professor of business administration at the SRH Fernhochschule .

Life

After studying business administration at the Münster University of Applied Sciences with a focus on accounting and finance, he worked in education and college until 1983 (including at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences ).

From 1983 to 2005 he held board and management positions in various health facilities (including the North Baden Psychiatric Center , Aulendorfer Clinics, Starnberg Clinic ). From 2006 to 2015 he worked as a freelance consultant for health facilities, concentrating on the conceptual development of medical and health centers. In 1998 he was appointed professor of health economics and hospital management at the SRH Fernhochschule , where he headed the master's degree in Health Care Management.

Alfons Runde was also involved in other functions and offices in his full-time work. He was temporarily managing director at MediCare GmbH in Munich, during which time he was in charge of the planning and implementation of the Airportclinic M at Munich Airport. He was also the founding president of the Bavaria Medical Group, a cooperative association of Bavarian hospitals with an international patient clientele. For many years he worked as a board member in the International Prevention Organization, a network for the promotion of health-oriented lifestyles, where he represented health economic topics.

Alfons Runde has been retired since the end of 2015, but continues to oversee a small number of courses and theses.
