Alfons Stump

Alfons Stumpf (born November 21, 1949 in Attendorn ) was Mayor of Attendorn from 1994 to October 21, 2009.

Alfons Stumpf has been a member of the SPD since 1969 . The legal clerk is active in various other associations in his hometown. He became the king of discs in 1987 .

As a personal goal of his mayoral work, Stumpf formulated a strong business with high residential and leisure value at the same time. He saw customs as an important contribution to the identity of a city. In his last election in 2004, the Sauerlander received 70.5% of the vote. In the local elections in 2009 he did not run again. The non-party Wolfgang Hilleke was elected as his successor .

After a unanimous council decision on November 11, 2009, Alfons Stumpf was named honorary mayor on February 19, 2010 in a ceremony.
