Qin Guangrong ( Chinese  秦光荣 ; * 1950 in Yongzhou , Hunan Province ) is a politician in the People's Republic of China .

Qin joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1972 . After working in politics and administration in his home province, most recently as party secretary of the KpCh of Changsha from 1993 to 1999 , he moved to Yunnan Province in 1999 .

From 2003 he was Deputy Party Secretary of the Province and Vice-Governor. From 2007 to 2011 he was their governor . In 2011 he became party secretary of this province. He was succeeded as governor by Li Jiheng .

He has been a candidate since 1997 and has been a member of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party since 2007 .
