Li Jiheng

Li Jiheng ( Chinese  李纪恒 , Pinyin Lǐ Jìhéng ; * 1957 in Guigang , Guangxi Autonomous Region ) is a politician in the People's Republic of China .

Li joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1976 . After working in politics and administration in his home country, including as party secretary and chairman of the standing committee of the Nanning City People's Congress from 2001 to 2003, he was most recently deputy party secretary from 2003 to 2006.

In 2006, he moved to Yunnan Province in the same position . There he was also president of the provincial party school until 2011. Since 2011, he has been the governor of the province , initially in an executive role , succeeding Qin Guangrong , who was promoted to party secretary of the province.

He has been a candidate for the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China since 1997 .

He has been Minister for Civil Affairs since October 26, 2018 .
