Alfonsas Vaišnoras
Alfonsas Vaišnoras (born October 16, 1941 in Sauginiai , Šiauliai Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
In 1966 Vaišnoras graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Vilniaus universitetas and in 1973 received his doctorate in geography . From 1967 to 1990 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Energy Economics in Kaunas . Vaišnoras did research in the field of water management ( Kruonis power station (near Kaišiadorys ) and its effect on the Kauno marios reservoir ). From 1990 he was a member of Sąjūdis , from 1992 to 2000 a member of the Seimas . From 2001 he worked in the Agency for Environmental Protection and taught at the Lietuvos teisės universitetas .
Vaišnoras has the daughter Lina with Mrs. Genė.
